We are part of the team of trainers of the Peer Support specialization course promoted by the University of Vic-Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC), the Althaia Foundation and Osonament, with the support of the “La Caixa” Foundation. It has the participation of the San Juan de Dios Health Park, Actively Catalonia, the Catalan Federation of Mental Health Entities in 1st Person – VEUS, and the Emilia Barcelona association.
This training is a university course of 15 credits that combines theoretical and practical training, it is aimed at people with their own experience of mental suffering or psychosocial disability to train them to act as peer support agents by joining the assistance teams of care services to mental health.
It is part of the scientific activity of the Mental Health Chair and the Mental Health and Social Innovation Research Group (SaMIS)
